Hello,

I am Anij Janardhanan, a governance, risk and compliance professional helping businesses to succeed in Asia Pacific. I have been quite fortunate to work with and learn from Boards and Managements that valued a culture of compliance throughout my career, and to interact with great individuals from all parts of the world.

I have helped organizations to design and implement solutions for Governance, Risk and Compliance, such as:

Governance frameworks to facilitate ‘tone at the top’ to transpire through the organization.
Risk management frameworks and processes at all levels within the organization.
Monitoring systems for legislative and regulatory changes that could affect organizations or the products and services that they offer.
Compliance and management systems based on local regional and international standards.
Privacy programs based on global best practices, but localized where it is required.
Internal audit programs based on international standards etc.

I have been successful in developing, leading, and growing highly effective teams, because:

I love to learn new things, and can see it when someone else has the same love towards learning new things.
I believe that no amount of experience alone can substitute for knowledge; and that no amount of knowledge alone can substitute for experience- this enables me to respect and learn from my team members’ strengths, while being honest about and coach employees to improve on their weaknesses while.
I have experienced that if a picture is worth thousand words, then a story is worth a thousand pictures. I use stories to explain strategy and concepts that are hard to follow.
